Bologna and Udinese share the spoils in thrilling Serie A clash

Bologna and Udinese have played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in Serie A. A penalty from Riccardo Orsolini gave Bologna the lead, but Lautaro Giannetti equalised for Udinese to ensure the points were shared.

The first half between Bologna and Udinese passed without a goal. It was not until the 57th minute, just over an hour into the match, that Riccardo Orsolini broke the deadlock. The Bologna forward converted a penalty and appeared to set his side on course for all three points.
Giannetti earns Udinese a point
Bologna's lead did not last long, however. In the 68th minute, Udinese drew level through Lautaro Giannetti, who got on the scoresheet with an assist from Brenner. The visitors showed real resilience and thoroughly deserved their share of the spoils.
Upcoming fixtures for both clubs
Bologna continue their season with home games against Napoli on 25 August and Empoli on 31 August, before travelling to Como on 15 September. Udinese face Lazio on 24 August, then welcome Como on 1 September, and round off that period with an away trip to Parma on 15 September.
