Celta de Vigo beat Valencia 3-1 in commanding La Liga comeback
Celta de Vigo defeated Valencia 3-1 at home on Friday evening in La Liga. The hosts found themselves behind after an early setback but turned the match completely around through goals from Óscar Mingueza, Iago Aspas and Fran Beltrán.
Valencia strike first, but Celta de Vigo hit back quickly

The lead, however, proved short-lived. Celta de Vigo showed real resilience and drew level in the 23rd minute through Óscar Mingueza, set up by Iago Aspas. Within the first half hour, Celta de Vigo had turned a 0-1 deficit into a 2-1 lead.
Fran Beltrán seals the win
After the break, Celta de Vigo remained the dominant side. In the 60th minute, Fran Beltrán extended the score to 3-1, completing the Galician side's comeback. Valencia were unable to find a way back into the match, and Celta de Vigo held on to claim all three points at home.
Looking ahead: busy schedules for both clubs
Celta de Vigo continue their La Liga campaign with fixtures against Villarreal on 26 August, Osasuna on 1 September and a home match against Real Valladolid on 15 September. Valencia face Athletic Club on 28 August, Villarreal on 31 August, and round off that period with an away trip to Atlético Madrid on 15 September.
