FC Twente avoid Benfica in Europa League qualifying draw: these are the possible opponents

FC Twente now know which clubs could be drawn against them in the second qualifying round of the Europa League. The Enschede side are unseeded, meaning they could face a tough opponent — though Portuguese giants Benfica have at least been ruled out of the equation.
Draw in Nyon at 1pm
The draw for the second qualifying round of the Europa League will take place at 1pm in the Swiss city of Nyon. FC Twente enter the draw as an unseeded side, meaning John van den Brom's men could be paired with one of the stronger participants. However, one big name is definitely off the table for the Tukkers: Portuguese top club Benfica cannot be drawn as a potential opponent.
Five possible opponents for the Tukkers
The clubs FC Twente could face are now known. The potential opponents are FC Viktoria Plzeň from the Czech Republic, Danish side FC Midtjylland and RSC Anderlecht from Belgium. In addition, the winners of two matches yet to be played could also emerge as opponents: FC Vojvodina from Serbia take on Hungarian side Ferencvárosi TC, while Qarabağ FK from Azerbaijan face Icelandic club Vestri. The winner of each of those ties also belongs to the pool of potential draw partners for the Enschede club.
