Juventus shut out Como in convincing 3-0 Serie A victory
Juventus made light work of Como in Serie A, cruising to a 3-0 win at the Allianz Stadium thanks to goals from Samuel Mbangula, Timothy Weah and Andrea Cambiaso. Como never looked like finding a way back into the match.
Mbangula opens the scoring early on
Juventus seized control from the off at the Allianz Stadium. After just 23 minutes, Samuel Mbangula broke the deadlock to give the hosts a comfortable lead against Como. The Serie A clash appeared to be heading in one direction from very early on.
Weah doubles the advantage just before the break
Juventus extended their lead in the closing stages of the first half. Timothy Weah made it 2-0 in the 45th minute, with Kenan Yıldız providing the assist. Como had no answer to the dominance of the Turin side.
Cambiaso wraps it up in the final minute
Andrea Cambiaso put the result beyond all doubt in the 90th minute to complete the scoring. This time it was Samuel Mbangula who provided the assist, meaning he had a hand in both the first and third goals. The 3-0 scoreline reflected a dominant evening for Juventus.
Upcoming fixtures for both clubs
Juventus continue their Serie A campaign with a home game against Hellas Verona on 26 August, followed by a clash with Roma on 1 September and an away trip to Empoli on 15 September. Como face Cagliari on 26 August, then Udinese on 1 September, before hosting Bologna on 15 September.
