Lazio eyes Zerrouki as ideal midfield partner for Rovella in Gattuso's system
Lazio have set their sights on Ramiz Zerrouki (28). The Algerian Feyenoord midfielder is considered an excellent fit for the system of new head coach Gennaro Gattuso, who was appointed as manager of the Italian top club this summer.

Ramiz Zerrouki could be set for a departure from Rotterdam this summer. After three years at Feyenoord, the Amsterdam-born midfielder appears to be heading for the exit. The club signed him from FC Twente in the summer of 2023 for approximately seven million euros.
Gattuso sees Zerrouki as a holding midfielder
Lazio regard the 28-year-old Zerrouki as a suitable candidate for a controlling role in midfield, alongside Nicolò Rovella in Gennaro Gattuso's 4-2-3-1 system. The Italian manager was appointed as the new head coach of I Biancocelesti this summer and has clear ideas about what he wants from his midfield.
Asking price of six million euros
Feyenoord are seeking approximately six million euros for the Algerian international. Zerrouki is currently in action at the World Cup with the Algerian national team, a factor that adds further weight to his profile on the transfer market.
