Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal seal home win for FC Barcelona against Athletic Club

FC Barcelona claimed a 2-1 La Liga victory over Athletic Club at home. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring, Oihan Sancet equalised for the visitors, but Robert Lewandowski settled the contest in the 75th minute. After two matchdays, Barcelona sit on six points, while Athletic Club have managed just one.
Yamal puts Barcelona ahead

With this victory, FC Barcelona claim a perfect return of six points from two matchdays. Athletic Club, by contrast, find themselves with just one point so far. In the coming weeks, Barcelona face fixtures against Rayo Vallecano (away, 27 August), a home game on 31 August, and an away trip to Girona on 15 September. Athletic Club take on Valencia (home, 28 August), Atlético Madrid (home, 31 August) and Las Palmas (away, 15 September).
